Meet AllisonAllison “Allie” Wicks is a Utah native and lifelong equestrian whose work brings together competitive excellence, compassionate training, and enduring community.
As head trainer at Rose Ranch since 1998, Allison has spent decades helping riders and horses build trust, skill, and partnership. Her experience spans hunter, jumper, and equitation disciplines, from developing riders at home to serving the wider sport through licensed officiating and governing-board leadership.

Allison captained the gold-winning St. Lawrence University Equestrian Team at the National Riding Championships and earned NCAA National Reserve Championship honors in Equitation on the Flat. Her professional life reflects the same steady dedication—years of riding, teaching, officiating, and service to equestrian organizations.
Rose Ranch is a family-operated, full-care equestrian facility in South Jordan, Utah. With two stables, a large indoor arena, and room for approximately 45 horses, it has grown into a welcoming home for riders who value quality care, steady progress, and genuine connection.
